DLR London City Airport Extension
Design, supply and installation of structural steel frame forming an enclosed canopy to an elevated platform, plus external caldding of canopy using radial trapezodial profile coated roof deccking and ACM overcladding forming rainscreen protection beneath glazing features.
Internal lining to the canopy utilises alucobond cassette panels fixed direct to steel purlin framework.
All glazing features to platform canopy, rooflight and platform level glazing designed and installed to withstand Home Office bomb blast requirements.
Similarly, the Link concourse from the platform to the escalator lifts features bomb glazing to trackside elevations complete with aluminium louvres and flashing profiles.
Installation at Ground Concourse Level include alumium framed bomb blast glazing systems incoroporating motorised doors, rooflight features with aluminium louvre systems, alumnium profiled features at roofing / glazing junction and ACM rainscreen system installed from ground and roof level to the underside of the elevated viaduct structure.
Escape staircase are enclosed with a combination of bespoke glazing and aluminium composite sheet panelling.
