Astec Introduce New Glass Handling Crane To UK
Astec Projects have just taken delivery of the Yammaguchi. The custom-built crawler crane was designed by Richard Daly, Astec’s Design Director, for transporting and installing glass. The machine was developed to aid the installation of shop front glazing for the One New Change project. Comprising a crane, dumper and glass rack, the Yammaguchi is capable of handling glass up to 3.25m x 4.5m with a capacity of circa 1-ton.
Astec pride themselves on their ability to produce bespoke design solutions for the projects they undertake, and finding innovative solutions that enable them to work more efficiently.
The new edition to their resources has already proved to be invaluable onsite, and will be used for future projects.
